Twig

The living forest

Twig is a very secretive creature, with his body mimicking a tree stump or a fallen branch, he blends seamlessly with the forest. When he closes his eyes, his face appears simply to be a knot in the wood.

He doesn’t like to interfere much with life in the forest, but he can’t help himself when it comes to seeds and saplings. He’ll nudge seeds into fertile spots for them to grow, and take care of young trees, protecting them from the elements.

The silent guardian

Twig’s powers are so subtle that the younger forest spirits might not notice his influence. But a spirit as old and wise as Twig knows that he doesn’t need to be flashy. He thinks in centuries rather than seasons, encouraging a sapling that will spend 500 years growing into one of the mightiest trees in the forest.

As others come and go, Twig works patiently to shape the forest one seed at a time. While he might go un-noticed, the towering trees reaching into the sky tell the story of his dedication.
